Steps

  1. Exercise daily. When you are young, just work on your core, and legs. If you are in middle school or in older grades, then you can work on your arms too. This is a workout that is great for everybody of each age. If you are in grade school or younger, then just don't do the arm workouts! When you start out, do 50 crunches, and go pretty high. Then put your legs to the side, and do 25 side crunches on each side. Then, do 50 bicycle crunches. After doing that, do a set of 30 pushups, 20, and then 10 pushups. Then stretch out, and do that one more time. To work your legs, if you have an exercise ball, use that to work your legs. Otherwise, just jump up and down as high as possible. Do at least 100 of those. Next, for arms, do weights and on each arm, do 50 ups and downs.
  2. Eat healthy. For breakfast, have an example of toast, with little butter or peanut butter, and to drink have a glass of water, or milk. Also, consider a fruit smoothie, but only have about one small glass of it. Next, for lunch, have some water, a sandwich with meat, or a salad, with carrots and little dressing. If you want something else, get a bag of almonds, or nuts. If you want dessert, then get a very small amount of something like cookies. For a small snack after school, have a lot of water, and a special K bar. They have few calories, and are delicious. For dinner have some meat, veggies, and fruit. Have milk, and water too!! When you go to bed, do not eat much, have a glass of warm milk, and maybe a handful of nuts. Try to avoid having a big snack before bed.
  3. Practice good health hygiene. Try to wash your body everyday, and to get everywhere. Also, get your hair washed very well but do not wash your hair every day as this can be damaging. Use both conditioner and shampoo when washing your hair. Lather the roots of your hair in shampoo and then let water wash the shampoo down your hair. Do not apply shampoo directly to your ends. You can apply conditioner all over the hair though.
  4. Wear comfortable clothing.
  5. Make yourself beautiful from inside. Be happy, content, positive and friendly. Your inner beauty will make your outer self glow!

How to Create a Paleo Omelet

Are you starting to get interested in following the Paleo diet based on the way humans ate during the Paleolithic age? Paleo offers a way of eating that may be healthier since it's based on the kinds of foods that were available when humans first developed so we may be better adapted to eating that way. It also offers many options for cooking great meals. The only tricky part is there are some food items not included in the diet that are most likely a staple in many people's diets today. This Paleo omelet is a simple breakfast or lunch dish that is easy to cook for anyone just starting out eating Paleo and tasty enough to carry on eating even when you're more familiar with Paleo cooking.

Ingredients

  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 tsp coconut oil
  • 1/4 onion
  • 1/2 tomato
  • 1/2 lb cooked diced ham

Steps

  1. Wash and sanitize your hands.
  2. Wash the onion and the tomato then dice them and place into separate bowls.
  3. Crack the eggs into a bowl and beat them well.
  4. Put your stove on low heat.
  5. Let the pan heat up for a minute then add coconut oil and allow to heat through.
  6. Pour the eggs into the pan and tilt pan until the eggs cover the entire surface of the pan.
  7. Cook for 2 to 3 minutes on low heat.
  8. Gently fold the cooked edges of the eggs into the middle of the pan, pour the tomatoes and the onions into the egg then mix them well.
  9. Let the vegetables settle into the egg mix for a minute or two and then add the diced cooked ham.
  10. Continue to fold in the edges of the egg by mixing it into the center of the pan until the entire middle of the pan is covered with egg and the vegetables and meat are perfectly hidden.
  11. Use a spatula to remove the omelet from the pan once it is cooked (should take no more than 10 minutes).

Tips

  • You can use bacon fat, lard or grass-fed butter instead of coconut oil if you prefer.
  • Add any herbs you like - especially fresh ones.

  • Do not use vegetable oils - these are not paleo.

  1. Have a good diet. Load up of fresh fruits and vegetables and you will notice your skin will look better. You’ll also feel better since fruits and vegetables are excellent sources of fiber, antioxidants and a plethora of vitamins and minerals good for your body. Stay away from processed and highly refined foods.
  2. Avoid smoking. Smoking wrecks havoc on the body. It not only increases your chances of heart attack, stroke, and various cancers, it also causes premature ageing. Cigarette smoke stains your teeth, causes wrinkles around the mouth, and causes skin discoloration on your face and lips.
  3. Take care of your skin. Wash your face twice a day with a mild cleanser. Moisturize your face after washing and use a toner if needed. Make it a habit to use sun block of at least SPF 15 to protect against sun damage and photo ageing. Use a night cream to combat wrinkles, fine lines, and age spots. Finally, use a good eye cream around the delicate eye area to fight early signs of ageing.
  4. Put on makeup. A little makeup goes a long way. Cover up age spots with a good concealer. Use a blush to add color to your face. A lip tint will give you fuller and sexier kissable lips. Makeup is a great way to look more youthful, fresher and more beautiful.
